"Being the the son of one of legendary Chicago DJ "Tricky " Vic Jones made my start easy. Growing up dancing and listening to to the old Motown sound during my fathers practice sessions in our basement and in the later years listening to the originators of Mix and “House” music, Chicago’s “Hot Mix 5,” which consist of Kenny “Jammin” Jason, Mickey “Mixin” Oliver, Mike “The Hitman” Wilson, Steve “Silk” Hurley and Xavier Gold is a big part of my education and talents. I would turn to WBMX (Chicago) every weekend and tape the entire “Saturday Night Live Ain’t No Jive Chicago Dance Party”. They turned music into something new and original. Most people say that my style mimics them as if I were a part of the original crew. Some say I am even better but I stay humble and say to them all………………………………………………..Thank you for the education."
